An illustration of Idris Stores, a shop in Corris, North Wales.

Idris Stores

This was an illustration from my series of free illustrations and promotional write-ups, that I offered to support small businesses during lockdown and the Covid19 pandemic.

A watercolour illustration for Idris Stores (in Corris, North Wales) then run by the lovely Hazel and Rob.

An experimental bold art piece of trees made from thousands of dots.

‘Forest Bathing’

An experimental ‘dotty’ piece this one, a new - more colourful - version of my original ‘Forest Bathing’ that can be found in the paintings section here

This one was drawn almost entirely in dots, against a backdrop of watercolours.

An illustration of bread surrounded by wine bottles. Each wine bottle has a day of the week in French. The bread has "tous les jours" written underneath it.

For my friend Vincent

This was an illustration from my series of free illustrations and promotional write-ups, that I offered to small businesses during lockdown and the Covid19 pandemic.

This one is a watercolour illustration, for my friend Vincent - who is one of the world’s best bakers and co-runs Epicerie L’Estrelo over in Lyon, France.

A quirky art illustration of a woman made entirely from small dots.

‘Dotty Maiden’

Drawn almost exclusively from dots…

30cm sq. Posca pens on paper.

A pencil illustration of a crow "Corvid".

‘Corvid’

A rainy day pencil drawing during lockdown, when all we heard about was Covid and all I kept seeing around me were crows - latin name ‘corvidae’ or ‘corvid’ in the singular.

A pencil drawing of a cute puppy called "Birdie".

‘Birdie’

The results of a just-for-fun little giveaway that I ran on Instagram in 2020. My friend Pug won the giveaway and for his winning prize, asked me to draw a picture of his beloved dog, Birdie. Alas, the perfectionist in me could never quite sign this one off as good enough - so to this day, Pug is still waiting patiently for his portrait of Birdie.
