Handpainted Interior Panels
These panels were commissioned by my lovely client, Lesley.
Lesley has a dark corridor in her house, that leads from her part of the house to a separate part that she lets out to students. The corridor is dark, with opaque, blocked off windows that don’t let any light in.
Lesley asked me to come up with a design that would brighten the hallway - and gave me free rein to do whatever I like (my favourite sort of client!).
These panels are what I cam up with: a forested scene of bright and bold, characterful, lively (and lazy!) birds.
